The ZX courtyard is a cozy and intimate space that has been designed with the ambition of creating a place to live, to enjoy, where both residents and visitors of all ages could gather.
The idea is to recreate the atmosphere of the old courtyards in the historical neighbourhood in Rome.

We seek to turn Golootockih Zrtava Square into a symbol for Montenegro’s natural qualities seen through an urban lens, a place that both locals and visitors can equally enjoy.
The vision aims to define a spatially clear square with multiple uses and characters. The space is composed out of two main parts: the urban room and the nature room, articulated through two axis that build on the existing qualities and support new active elements.
Taking inspiration from Montenegro’s rich and diverse nature qualities we propose a reinterpretation of several of its iconic landscapes. From breathtaking mountain paths to lush green forests, scenic lakes and fertile fields, we bring together parts of different landscapes into one cohesive space.
The varied topography inspired the pavement pattern and design lines of the proposal, while several of the suggested objects had a conceptual starting point in local and national landmarks.
