UP4 (Urban Process & Architecture) is an up-and-coming collaborative practice operating in the fields of architecture, urban design and research. It was established by Alessandro Macaluso, Andrei Deacu, Carlotta Basoli and Giovanni Lavanna in Stockholm, 2017.

Combining substantial experience from employments in Sweden, the Netherlands and Italy, the group was founded on the belief that architecture can enrich lives, and make a difference for those who engage with it.

UP4’s ambition is to develop vivid and clear projects based on a deep understanding of the specific social and economic contexts, while adding an unexpected twist and focusing on improving the built environment and promoting a cohesive society.
